Hi Crafty friends
I escaped the very, very rainy day here in the UK and played along with this week’s Global Design Project Theme Challenge. Just to cheer myself up, I added glitter. Glitter can brighten any gloomy day! Right?
This design would work for a Wedding, Anniversary or Engagement, versatility is key!
The camera doesn’t translate the sparkly-ness (a word in my world) of the card but trust me, this card sparkles! The extra dots of sparkle were created with a fine tip glue pen and sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. The champagne flutes and sentiment were both heat embossed which always a great look for these kinds of celebration cards and adds a professional and classy touch.
You’ll find a link to the products used at the end of this post.
It can be tricky to adhere anything to glimmer paper or to cut it to size. Here are some tips to help you with that.
Till next time!
Hi Crafty Friends
I needed to make my parents a new home card but didn’t really have anything to make it with. Stampin’ Up! do have new home stamps and dies available but I haven’t purchased them….yet!
I decided to use my Oh Happy Day card kit because the ‘Yay’ sentiment is perfect for any happy occasion.
As someone who designs cards all the time, either for blog posts or classes, from time to time it’s an enjoyable luxury to have a box of ready designed projects that I can just enjoy putting together. Also great for those occasions that just sneak up on you and you need a quick make!
The Stampin’ Up! all inclusive kits are exactly that, you only need to add your favourite adhesives and have some snips to hand.
The components are all beautiful quality and you’ll love playing with them.
If you’re looking for a crafty gift, to send your student back to university with something useful or you want to pack something crafty to take on holiday, kits are a great option.
Yes, you even get the stamps and a block!
All good things must come to an end and that includes this amazing offer from Stampin’ Up!
