The finishing touch was a little Wink of Stella on the flowers which you can just about make out on the photo. In real life it’s beautiful and sparkly.

One Christmas Tree, 3 looks!

One of the things I love about creative people is that everyone has their own style. Out of my crafting friends I can usually pick out their work.

With this in mind I thought it would be fun to show you three cards using the same bundle but all with different styles! I would LOVE to know which one is your favourite!

All three cards were made using the Ready For Christmas Bundle

I focused on the tree.

For this simple card I stamped Very Vanilla card stock in black using the Sheet Music background stamp and added Red Glimmer Paper die cut accents.

This contemporary look was achieved with Silver Glimmer paper and Merry Little Christmas Designer Series paper.

This uses Garden Green and Real Red for a more traditional feel.

I would LOVE to know which one is your favourite!

Big Shot, dragonfly dreams, hardwood stamp, Island Indigo, tranquil tide, Uncategorized

Happy birthday, Mum.

I’ll start with a little confession. I used A LOT of supplies on this project!

When you make your Mum a card you want to make sure it’s special and I got carried away with sparkle and pretty things. Usually I like to demonstrate how much you can do with very little Stampin’ Up! supplies (because it’s true) but we all get a little carried away at times 🙂

The main focus of the card is the beautiful dragonfly.  Island Indigo and Tranquil Tide remind me of the jewel like colours that dragonflies have so they were the perfect choice.

Retreat day fun

Hi all

A couple of weeks ago I held my first mini retreat with my Stampin’ Up! buddy, Carol.

We used the Colorful Seasons bundle which was perfect to create lots of different projects.

We wanted to make sure our retreat guest felt special and looked after so we had some extra treats for everyone!

The Mini Pizza Boxes were perfect for some homemade cookies and the Striped Treat bags were given as ‘Grown up’ Party favours, so much fun 🙂

The retreat cost included everything below and some Ladies chose to take advantage of the discounted price and ordered the Colorful Seasons Bundle which includes the dies.

Product List

One of our lovely ladies celebrated her birthday on the day.

Lunch and homemade cakes were also served but we’ve only got a picture of the scrummy chocolate cake above.

Lots of chatting, crafting and laughter.

This is a small selection of the projects we designed, everyone had their own copy of full instructions.

Don’t worry if you missed it this time, subscribe to my newsletter to be notified of all future events.

Ready for Christmas YouTube tutorial

Hi all

The Ready for Christmas Bundle caught my eye as soon as I saw the Autumn/Winter Stampin’ Up! catalogue. First of all it has my favourite dog breed but once you see beyond the cuteness the versatility of this bundle really becomes apparent.

Because it has SO many elements it may seem overwhelming if you want to make very quick cards so I’ve made a video to show you one example of a simple project that will get your Christmas card making off to a flying start!
